Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- beaten egg - 1 item
- cloves - 1 tsp
How to make gingersnaps:
Preheat oven to 375°. Cream the shortening and sugar, then add molasses and egg. Mix well, then add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well. Roll into balls and roll in sugar.Recipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
