German cole slaw
Ingredients/Components
- medium size head cabbage, shredded - 1/2 item
- to 4 slices bacon, bacon bits or stripples, cut in 3/4-inch pieces - 3 item
- pickle relish or chopped sweet pickle - 2 3
- hot bacon grease or oil - 3 Tbsp
How to make german cole slaw:
Put shredded cabbage into bowl. Cook bacon; remove from pan and add to cabbage. Then add pickle relish and bacon grease. Mix thoroughly and serve immediately.Recipe categories: Salads, Side dish, Vegetables.
