- water - 1 c
- chicken broth - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces - 1 lb
- garlic cloves more or less, depending on your taste - 2 item
How to make garlic mashed potatoes:
Boil potatoes and garlic in water and chicken broth, uncovered, until potatoes are tender and almost all liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes.
