Fudgy pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- hot water - 1/2 c
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 oz
- 9-inch unbaked pastry shell - 1 item
- pecan halves or pieces
How to make fudgy pecan pie:
Preheat oven to 350°. In medium saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate with butter. Stir in sweetened (Eagle Brand) milk, hot water and eggs; mix well. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients. Pour into pastry shell. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until center is set. Cool slightly. Serve warm or chilled. Garnish as desired.
