Fudge pudding cake
Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 2/3 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- brown sugar - 1 c
- cocoa - 6 Tbsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- pecans - 1/2 c
- melted shortening - 2 Tbsp
How to make fudge pudding cake:
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar and 2 tablespoons of cocoa. Add milk, shortening and vanilla. Mix only until smooth. Add pecans. Put in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.Mix brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons of cocoa and sprinkle over mixture in pan. Pour 1 1/2 cups of boiling water over top. Bake in a 350° oven for 40 minutes.
