How to make fruit soup:

Cover dried fruit with water (any combination of raisins, prunes or apricots). Boil slowly for 20 minutes. Add brown sugar to taste. Thicken, if desired, with cornstarch dissolved in 1/3 cup water. Bring to a boil. Some like to add pearl (big) cooked tapioca instead of cornstarch.
