Ingredients/Components
- large can pineapple chunks, drained - 1 item
- large can Mandarin orange slices, drained - 1 item
- to 3 large bananas - 2 item
- fresh or frozen strawberries - 1 pt
- large can cherry pie filling - 1 item
- instant Tang dry - 1/4 c
- large carton vanilla instant pudding - 1 item
- poppy seed - 2 Tbsp
- kiwi fruit - 1 item
How to make fruit salad:
Drain 1 large can pineapple chunks; set juice aside. Drain 1 large can Mandarin orange slices; set juice aside. Combine pineapple, Mandarin oranges, 2 to 3 large bananas (sliced), one pint fresh or frozen strawberries (sliced) and one large can cherry pie filling.Mix about 1/4 cup instant Tang (dry), 1 large carton vanilla instant pudding and 2 tablespoons poppy seed with approximately 3/4 cup of set aside juices from pineapple and oranges. Fold in mixture. Garnish with sliced kiwi. Chill overnight for better flavor blending.
