Fruit cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 2 item
• flour
• butter - 1/2 c
• baking soda - 1 Tbsp
• dash of salt - 1 item
• rum - 1 c
• orange juice - 1 c
• walnuts - 1 c
• candied fruit - 2 lb
• nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves - 1 tsp
• raisins and currants, boiled in 2 c - 1 c

How to make fruit cake:

Place all ingredients in order in a large bowl. Be sure to include any water left in the raisins and currants after boiling. Mix with a medium beater until well mixed. Bake at 350° in a greased ring pan or 2 to 3 loaf pans.
