Frozen cole slaw
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- carrot - 1 item
- mustard seed - 1 tsp
- medium cabbage - 1 item
- small pepper, shedded - 1 item
How to make frozen cole slaw:
Mix cabbage, carrot, pepper and salt. Let stand 1 hour, then drain. Boil mustard seed, vinegar and celery seed 1 minute. Let cool. Blanch cabbage before freezing. Add second mixture to the first mixture, then freeze.Recipe categories: Salads, Vegetables, Northeastern U.S..
