Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- cinnamon to taste - 1 item
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- pinch of nutmeg - 1 item
- capful vanilla extract - 1 item
- Red Delicious apples or any red apples - 6 item
How to make fried apples:
Rinse and peel apples. Cut into wedges. Melt butter in frying pan. Add apples, cinnamon, sugar and vanilla extract. Cook on low. Simmer approximately 20 to 25 minutes until apples are soft and crispy (not mushy). Sprinkle cinnamon over top of fried apples.Recipe categories: Low protein, Fruit, Apple.
