Hawaiian dessert
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- cold milk - 4 c
- yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
- can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
- flaked coconut, toasted - 2 c
- coconut extract
- instant vanilla pudding mix 3 - 3 pkg
- heavy cream, whipped and sweetened - 2 c
How to make hawaiian dessert:
Mix cake batter according to package. Pour into 2 greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pans. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool.In a large bowl, combine pudding mixes, milk and coconut extract. Beat for 2 minutes. Add cream cheese and beat well. Stir in pineapple. Spread over cooled cakes. Top with whipped cream; sprinkle with coconut. Chill at least 2 hours. Serves 24.
Note: Prepared dessert can be covered and frozen for up to 1 month.
