  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • milk - 1 qt
  • flour - 3 Tbsp
  • water - 2 3
  • egg yolks - 3 item
  • xx cream, whipped - 1 pt
  • sugared strawberries, mashed - 1 qt

How to make fresh strawberry ice cream:

Mix flour and sugar; add water, then egg yolks, well beaten. Beat well and add to hot milk. Cook until thick as mayonnaise. Cool; add vanilla, cream and berries. Freeze. Serves 6 to 8.
