Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 item
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 4 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- mace - 1 item
- pie shell and top, unbaked - 1 item
- very large peaches - 6 item
How to make fresh peach pie:
Wash peaches; peel and slice. Pour a little milk over the slices to prevent fruit from darkening. Then add sugar, flour, lemon juice, spices and butter. Bake in shell with lattice top in 400° oven one hour.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
