- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- stick margarine - 1 item
- brown sugar
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- finely chopped fresh apples - 3 c
How to make fresh apple cake:
Topping:1 c. brown sugar1 stick margarine1/4 c. milk Combine first 7 ingredients and mix well with electric mixer; fold in pecans and apples. Pour in greased and floured tube cake pan; bake for 1 hour at 350°. Cool; remove from pan.Topping: Mix all ingredients and boil for 3 minutes. Cool and pour over cake.
