  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • milk - 1/4 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • brown sugar
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • plain flour - 3 c
  • finely chopped fresh apples - 3 c

How to make fresh apple cake:

Topping:1 c. brown sugar1 stick margarine1/4 c. milk Combine first 7 ingredients and mix well with electric mixer; fold in pecans and apples. Pour in greased and floured tube cake pan; bake for 1 hour at 350°. Cool; remove from pan.

Topping: Mix all ingredients and boil for 3 minutes. Cool and pour over cake.
