French lace cookies
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 1/4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 3 Tbsp
- quick or regular oats - 1 c
How to make french lace cookies:
Heat oven to 375°. Melt butter in saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, salt, oats, egg, baking powder, flour, vanilla and coconut. Batter will be runny. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Drop batter by tablespoon 3 inches apart. Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes. Watch carefully. These burn easily. Cool; peel off foil. Store in an airtight container.
