- eggs - 2 item
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 c
- boiling water - 1 c
- shortening - 1/4 c
- flour more or less
- cake yeast, dissolved in lukewarm water - 1 item
How to make french doughnuts:
Pour boiling water over shortening, sugar and salt. Add milk. When lukewarm, add the dissolved yeast. Add beaten eggs and enough flour to make mixture thick.
