Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 1 Tbsp
- egg, well beaten - 1 item
- ice water - 7 8
- cups flour - 3 item
- cup shortening - 1 item
How to make flaky pastry:
Mix flour and salt. Cut in shortening until mixture is coarse and granular. Mix vinegar and egg to ice water.
