Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 7 c
- water - 5 c
- soda - 1 c
- figs - 6 qt
How to make fig preserves:
Sprinkle soda over figs. Pour 4 quarts boiling water over figs. Let set for 5 minutes, then pour cold water over figs, rinsing well. Boil sugar and water for a few minutes.
