sugar - 2 c
eggs - 4 item
vanilla - 2 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 4 c
butter - 2 c
baking powder - 2 tsp
baking soda - 2 tsp
bag chocolate chips - 24 oz
oatmeal - 5 c
light brown sugar - 2 c
chopped nuts walnuts or pecans - 3 c
grated Hershey bar - 1 (8

How to make famous chocolate chip cookies:

Cream first 3 ingredients together. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together flour and oatmeal (put small amounts into blender until it turns to powder; measure first, then blend). Mix salt, baking powder and baking soda. Mix all ingredients and add chocolate chips and Hershey bar. Can be done in a blender. Add chopped nuts. Make golf ball-sized cookies. Drop 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° to 375° for 8 minutes. Makes 112 cookies. Recipe may be cut in half.
