  • salt - 1 tsp
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • catsup - 1/2 c
  • clove garlic - 1 item
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • noodles - 4 oz
  • jar sliced mushrooms - 1 1/2
  • can Ro-Tel tomatoes and green chiles - 1 oz

How to make family goulash:

Bring 6 cups water to a boil. Add 4 ounces noodles to water. Stir often and boil until tender. Cook and stir ground beef, onion and garlic in a large skillet until beef is brown and onions and garlic are tender. Drain off fat.

When noodles are tender, stir in drained meat, catsup, mushrooms (with liquid), tomatoes, salt and pepper. Cover. Simmer 30 to 45 minutes. Salt to taste.
