Ingredients/Components
- milk - 2 c
- salt
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter or oleo - 2 Tbsp
- finely diced onion - 1/4 c
- sliced potatoes - 5 c
- chopped cheese if desired - 1 item
How to make escalloped potatoes:
Heat first 4 ingredients slowly to bubbling point, stirring frequently. Add finely diced onion and sliced potatoes. Heat slowly to boiling point. Add chopped cheese, if desired. Put in greased casserole dish. Add potatoes and cream sauce. Can add diced ham or diced wieners, if desired.Recipe categories: Weeknight, Potato, Vegetables.
