Ingredients/Components
- salt
- vinegar - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- sifted flour - 3 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- ice water - 1/2 c
How to make egg pastry:
Sift flour and salt together. Cut in shortening. Combine egg, vinegar and ice water. Gradually add to dry ingredients. Mix until dough holds its shape. Yields 3 to 4 crusts.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
