Easy yeast rolls
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt
- flour
- egg - 1 item
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- warm water
- Crisco oil - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 1 pkg
How to make easy yeast rolls:
Dissolve sugar and yeast in water. Add salt, oil and egg. Add about 5 1/2 cups flour (just sift into mixture; dough will be sticky). Pat dough onto floured board; cut and dip into butter. Fold. Let rise 1 1/2 hours. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Makes 25 rolls. This dough will hold in refrigerator for 3 days.Recipe categories: Breads, Rolls/biscuits, Midwestern u.s..
