sugar
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/3 tsp
soda - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
vinegar - 2 Tbsp
stick butter - 1 item
Crisco - 1/2 c
sifted plain flour

How to make easy sugar cookies:

Cream together butter, Crisco and sugar. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with creamed mixture with egg blended with vinegar and vanilla. Shape dough into small balls and chill about 1 hour. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Mash down with a glass which has been greased on bottom and dipped in sugar. Bake at 400° for about 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
