Easy pickled beets
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- vinegar - 2 c
- ground cinnamon - 1 tsp
- mixed pickling spice - 1 Tbsp
- sliced beets - 4 cans
How to make easy pickled beets:
In a large saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add spices. Bring to a boil. Drain the beets, reserving 3/4 cup juice. Stir beets and reserved juice into saucepan. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove spices. Yield: 18 to 20 servings.Recipe categories: Condiments, etc., Side dish, Vegetables.
