  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • unbaked 9-inch pastry shell - 1 item
  • pecans - 1 c
  • margarine, melted - 1 Tbsp
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
  • light or dark corn syrup - 1 c

How to make easy pecan pie:

In medium bowl, stir together eggs, sugar, corn syrup, margarine and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pastry shell. Bake in a 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Makes one 9-inch pie.
