Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2/3 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • corn syrup - 3/4 c
  • light corn syrup - 1 c
  • butter, melted - 1/3 c
  • pastry for one-crust 8 or 9-inch pie
  • 9-inch Pie:3 eggs
  • pecans* - 1 c
  • 8-inch Pie:2 eggs

How to make easy pecan pie:

9-inch Pie:3 eggs2/3 c. sugar1/2 tsp. salt1/3 c. butter, melted1 c. light corn syrup1 c. pecans* 8-inch Pie:2 eggs1/2 c. sugar1/4 tsp. salt1/4 c. butter, melted3/4 c. corn syrup3/4 c. pecans* *I use more pecans.

Beat together ingredients, except pecans. Mix in the pecans. Pour into pastry lined pan. Bake until set and pastry is browned at 375° for 40 to 50 minutes.
