Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- sugar - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- mace - 1/2 tsp
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- milk - 3/4 c
- approximately 2/3 box powdered sugar
- oil for cooking - 1 item
How to make donut holes:
Heat oil 3 to 4-inches deep in pan or deep-fat fryer. Measure flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and mace into medium mixing bowl. Add oil, milk and eggs; beat until smooth.Drop batter by teaspoonfuls into hot oil. Fry 4 or 5 at a time for about 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
When cool, roll in sifted powdered sugar. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
