Ingredients/Components

vanilla extract - 1 tsp
flour - 1/2 c
brown sugar - 1 c
chopped dates - 1/2 c
baking soda - 1 tsp
unsweetened cocoa powder - 2 Tbsp
peanut butter - 1 Tbsp
oat bran - 1/2 c
nonfat milk - 1/3 c
finely chopped apple - 1 c
quick or instant oats

How to make delicious oatmeal cookies:

Preheat oven to 375°. Spray cookie sheet with vegetable spray. In large mixer bowl, combine oats, oat bran, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and sugar.

In cup, combine peanut butter, milk and vanilla. Stir into dry mixture thoroughly. Add apples and dates. Batter will be stiff; drop by tablespoonful on cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 17 minutes. Makes 48 cookies. One cookie contains: saturated fats (trace) and cholesterol (none).
