Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• flour - 4 c
• brown sugar - 2 c
• water - 1 c
• shortening - 1 c
• eggs, well beaten - 3 item
• pitted dates
• baking soda heaping - 1/2 tsp
• chopped nuts put in filling when cooled - 1 c

How to make date pinwheels:

Filling:2 1/4 c. pitted dates1 c. sugar1 c. water1 c. chopped nuts (put in filling when cooled) Filling: In a saucepan, combine dates, sugar and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick. Cool and add nuts. Cookie Doug
