Ingredients/Components

  • milk - 1/2 c
  • dash of pepper - 1 item
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • eggs, slightly beaten - 8 item
  • 2 c - 8 oz
  • can crescent dinner rolls - 8 oz
  • hot, lean sausage - 1 lb

How to make crescent casserole:

Heat oven to 350°. Separate dough into 2 long triangles and place in greased 13 x 9-inch glass casserole. Press over bottom and 1 inch up sides, making sure perforations in dough are sealed. Brown sausage; place in colander and rinse with hot water to remove grease. Sprinkle sausage on top of dough, then sprinkle cheese on top of sausage. Add salt and pepper to milk and pour evenly over top of casserole. Whip eggs and place on top. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes until eggs are set. Cut in 8 squares and serve immediately. Serves 8.
