  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • stick butter, melted - 1 item
  • cooking oil - 1/2 c
  • can Pet milk - 1 oz
  • can Angel Flake coconut - 1 item
  • boiling water add last - 1 c
  • Topping:1 box brown sugar

How to make creole cake:

Topping:1 box brown sugar1 stick butter, melted1 (6 oz.) can Pet milk1 can Angel Flake coconut1 c. nuts2 tsp. vanilla Mix all ingredients well, then add boiling water last. Pour into 11 x 16-inch pan and bake at 350° for about 25 to 30 minutes. Spread topping on hot cake and place under broiler until it bubbles (will burn easily).

Topping: Mix ingredients and pour over cake.
