Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- water - 3/4 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- shortening - 2/3 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- can apple pie filling - 1 oz
How to make crazy crust apple pie:
In a small mixer bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, shortening and water. Blend well and beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Pour into a 9-inch pie pan. Combine apple filling, lemon juice and cinnamon in a bowl; pour over center of batter. Do not stir. Bake at 425° for 45 to 50 minutes. Makes 1 pie.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, Apple.
