Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- black pepper - 1 Tbsp
- large chopped onion - 1 item
- bacon fat - 2 Tbsp
- canned whole tomatoes - 2 c
- cut up okra - 2 c
- boiled crawfish tails or shrimp - 2 c
How to make crawfish etoufee:
Brown together the bacon fat, onion and okra. Add tomatoes, black pepper and salt. Add enough water to simmer. Cook until tender. Add boiled crawfish tails or shrimp. Serve over rice. So yummy!Recipe categories: Low sodium, Low calorie, Very low carbs.
