Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- chopped onion - 1/4 c
- can tomato sauce - 1/2 item
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- grated cheese - 1 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- oregano - 1/8 tsp
- Mix well
- 1/2 cans tomato sauce - 1 item
How to make country pie:
Combine ingredients. Mix well. Pat mixture into bottom and sides of well-greased 9-inch pie plate.Filling:1 1/3 c. Minute rice (uncooked)1 1/2 cans tomato sauce1/2 tsp. salt1 c. water1 c. grated cheese Combine rice, sauce, salt, water and half of cheese. Spoon mixture into pie shell. Cover with foil. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Uncover. Top with rest of cheese. Bake, uncovered, 10 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Ground beef, One Dish meal.
