Ingredients/Components
- butter - 2 3
- butter, melted - 2 Tbsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- green onions, thinly sliced - 3 item
- warm milk - 1/4 c
- cabbage, cut in 1/2-inch squares - 3 c
- or more large Idaho baking potatoes - 4 item
How to make colcannon:
Peel and cut potatoes into small pieces. Cover with boiling water and cook until tender. Drain and dry over low heat. Mash and add 2 to 3 tablespoons of butter and the warm milk.
