Ingredients/Components

  • flour, divided - 4 5
  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • salt
  • active dry yeast - 2 pkg
  • warm milk - 3/4 c
  • warm water - 1/2 c
  • butter, softened - 1/4 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • light corn syrup
  • packed brown sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • pecans, coarsely chopped - 1 c
  • packed light brown sugar
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • butter, melted - 2 Tbsp

How to make pecan sticky buns:

Glaze:1/2 c. light corn syrup1/2 c. packed brown sugar1/4 c. butter1 c. pecans, coarsely chopped Filling:1/2 c. packed light brown sugar1 tsp. cinnamon2 Tbsp. butter, melted In large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Stir in milk, water and butter until blended. Stir in eggs and enough additional flour (about 2 cups) to make a soft dough. Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes. Cover dough and let rest on floured surface 10 minutes.

Glaze: In small saucepan over low heat, stir corn syrup, brown sugar and butter until smooth. Pour into 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with pecans.

Filling: Combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside. Roll dough to a 20 x 12-inch rectangle. Brush dough with melted butter. Sprinkle with brown sugar. Roll up. Pinch seam. Cut into 15 slices. Place in pan. Bake at 375° for 28 to 30 minutes.
