Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- water - 3 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- butter, melted - 1/3 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- long grain rice
- oregano - 1 tsp
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chopped green onion - 1/8 c
- thyme - 1 tsp
How to make green rice:
Cook rice in 3 cups water and salt for 20 minutes. Add cooked and drained spinach, onion, 1/3 cup cheese, salt and pepper. Stir in herbs and melted butter. Put mixture in casserole dish and add eggs beaten with milk. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, dot with butter and bake 1 1/4 hours.Recipe categories: < 60 mins, Pasta, rice and grains, Rice.
