Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 5 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
- Crisco oil
- sweet milk - 1 c
- coconut flavoring - 1 tsp
- sifted self-rising flour - 3 c
- box instant jello - 1 3/4
- pudding and pie filling coconut cream - 1 item
- Sift flour with salt
How to make coconut pound cake:
Cream together oil and sugar; add egg. Sift flour with salt. Add flour alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beating after each addition. Add coconut, lemon and vanilla flavoring and pudding mix. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until cake is done.Icing:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar sweet milk Pour over cake while hot.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Lunch/snacks.
