  • Coca-Cola - 1 c
  • buttermilk - 1/2 c
  • small marshmallows
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • box powdered sugar - 1 item
  • Bring to a boil, margarine, cocoa and Coca-Cola

How to make coca-cola cake:

Combine sugar, marshmallows and sifted flour. Bring to a boil, margarine, cocoa and Coca-Cola. Pour this over first mixture until marshmallows are partly melted. Add buttermilk with 1 teaspoon soda dissolved in and eggs (well beaten). Add to rest. Bake in 8 1/2 x 13 1/2-inch pan at 350° for about 30 minutes.Frosting:1 stick margarine3 Tbsp. cocoa6 Tbsp. Coca-Cola1 box powdered sugar1 c. chopped pecans Bring to boil, margarine, cocoa and Coca-Cola. Remove and add powdered sugar. Beat well and add chopped pecans. Spread on cake in the pan while still warm.
