Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 2/3 c
- egg, slightly beaten - 1 item
- self-rising flour
- butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
- butter flavored shortening - 1/2 c
How to make cloud biscuits:
Combine flour and sugar in a medium bowl; stir well. Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse meal.Combine eggs and milk; add to flour mixture. Stir just until dry ingredients are moist. Turn dough onto floured board and knead 3 to 4 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake at 450° for 10 to 12 minutes.
