Sweet potato casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- self-rising flour - 1/3 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- honey - 1/4 c
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- sweet potatoes, mashed - 3 c
How to make sweet potato casserole:
Topping:1/2 c. sugar1 c. pecans, chopped1/3 c. self-rising flour5 Tbsp. butter, melted Measure the potatoes into a mixing bowl. Add honey, eggs, salt, butter, vanilla and milk, mixing well. Spoon into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole dish. In a separate bowl, mix sugar, flour, nuts and butter. Spread the topping evenly over the potatoes. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
