Ingredients/Components

  • oregano - 1/4 tsp
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • tomato paste - 1/4 c
  • chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped chives - 1 Tbsp
  • celery - 1/3 c
  • clam juice - 1 c
  • drained canned minced clams - 1 lb

How to make clam sauce:

In a saucepan combine celery, clam juice, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes; add water if too thick. Stir in clams, chives, parsley and oregano. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve on cooked linguini.
