Ingredients/Components
- oregano - 1/4 tsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- tomato paste - 1/4 c
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- chopped chives - 1 Tbsp
- celery - 1/3 c
- clam juice - 1 c
- drained canned minced clams - 1 lb
How to make clam sauce:
In a saucepan combine celery, clam juice, tomato paste, salt and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes; add water if too thick. Stir in clams, chives, parsley and oregano. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve on cooked linguini.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Clams.
