Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour - 5 c
- brown sugar - 4 Tbsp
- hot water
- white sugar - 4 Tbsp
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
- Topping:1 stick oleo
- yellow cake mix without pudding - 1 pkg
How to make cinnamon rolls:
Topping:1 stick oleo4 Tbsp. brown sugar4 Tbsp. white sugar1 c. chopped pecans Topping: Melt oleo. Combine with remaining ingredients.Mix the first 3 ingredients well. Stir in hot water; let rise until double in size. Cut dough in half. Take and roll half into rectangle on floured surface. Spread with oleo; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Roll as for jelly roll. Cut into 2-inch slices. Repeat with second half; let rise in baking pan. Just before baking, prepare topping and pour over rolls. Bake at 375° for 25 minutes. Makes 24 rolls. Use a large deep pan.
