Chocolate surprise cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- 25 oz
- cream cheese, softened - 12 oz
- semi-sweet chocolate mini-morsels - 1/2 c
How to make chocolate surprise cake:
Heat oven to 350°. Butter and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan. In a small mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; beat until blended and set aside. Prepare cake as label directs; fold in chocolate morsels. Pour chocolate batter in prepared pan; evenly cover with cream cheese mixture. Bake until a wooden pick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean, 45 to 55 minutes. Cool on a wire rack for 25 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely. Dust with confectioners sugar.
