Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/3 c
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- water - 1 c
- oil - 1/2 c
- cocoa
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 box
- eggs* - 2 item
- Place remaining ingredients into bowl
How to make chocolate sheet cake:
Bring margarine, oil, cocoa and water to a boil. Place remaining ingredients into bowl. *Mix a little of the hot ingredients in with the eggs before pouring the hot ingredients over the flour mixture. Mix well. Pour onto ungreased 11 x 17-inch cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Pour icing over hot cake.Icing:1 stick margarine3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa1/3 c. milk1 box (3 1/2 c.) powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 c. chopped nuts Bring to a boil the margarine, cocoa and milk.
