Chocolate pound cake

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3 c
• eggs - 5 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• milk - 1 c
• salt - 1/2 tsp
• butter - 1/2 lb
• cocoa - 4 Tbsp
• baking powder - 1/2 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• cake flour - 3 c

How to make chocolate pound cake:

Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one. Sift flour and dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
