- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1/2 lb
- cocoa - 4 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- cake flour - 3 c
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Preheat oven to 325°. Grease and flour Bundt pan. Cream butter, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each one. Sift flour and dry ingredients together. Add alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
