Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- sticks oleo - 2 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- Add eggs and beat until fluffy
How to make chocolate pound cake:
Mix oleo, Crisco and sugar until creamed. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Add vanilla. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.Chocolate Frosting:1 box confectioners sugar1 stick oleo1/4 c. milk1 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. cocoa Combine oleo, milk, vanilla and cocoa.
