  • sugar - 1 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • cold water - 3/4 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • mayonnaise - 1 c

How to make chocolate mayonnaise cake:

Mix all ingredients and beat with mixer for 2 to 3 minutes. Pour into greased and floured 8 or 9-inch cake pans. Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350°. Use frosting of your choice. Seven Minute or Butter Icing are very good.
