- sugar - 1/2 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- shredded coconut - 1 c
- finely chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- egg whites, at room temperature - 2 item
How to make chocolate macaroons:
Melt chocolate morsels; cool. Stir in coconut and walnuts. In a small bowl, combine egg whites and salt. Beat until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar; beat until stiff. Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture. Drop by teaspoon 1 inch apart onto brRecipe categories: Desserts, Drop cookies, Cookie and brownie.
